2001 ECU and 2002 ECU. I was thinking to change the ECU on my 2002 Celica to 2001 ecu, I was just wondering if this change is possible. I'm also thinking to change the 02 ecu to 01 ecu or just get aftermarket ecu for the 02 celica.

If your trying to change the rev limiter there's a little more work involved, if your just changing ECU's then yes the swap should work. There are a few things different look at newcelica.org in the tech forum for the wireing harness pic's and documents. As far as the rev limiter you will need a knock sensor and the and the wirering clip that attaches to it.
